一、教学内容:新版牛津小学英语4A Unit8 dolls (A Story time)第一课时
二、教学目标
1、知识技能: 学生能听、说、读短语及单词:hair, eye, ear, nose, mouth, big, small, his, her, long, short, king能运用句型He’s/She’s... His/Her ...is/are...His/Her ..and …is/are…
2、过程方法:通过游戏、竞赛、表演等活动,掌握句型以及文本内容,然后能运用所学句型描述自己娃娃的脸部特征。
3、情感态度价值观: 通过活动、游戏使学生产生学习英语的兴趣;让学生敢于、乐于开口,积极参与交流。并让学生在学习的过程中,培养他们的合作意识和竞争意识。
三、教学重点:
1、能听懂、会读、会说、会写单词hair, eye, ear, nose, mouth, big,small, his, her, long, short, king
2、能初步听懂、会读、会说、会用句型He’s/She’s... His/Her ...is/are... His/Her ..and …is/are…
3、能读懂课文内容,并初步表演
四、教学难点:
1.读准单词hair, eye, ear, mouth,her
2.正确运用his, her
五、设计思路:
在设计的过程中,通过讨论自己的两个洋娃娃图图和小美的面部特征,学习新单词和句型,然后引入到学习课文中男孩子们、女孩子们的洋娃娃,最后讨论学生们自己喜爱的洋娃娃,教师从开始的扶着学生学习,到其中的半扶半放,到最后的完全放手,环环相扣,层层深入,遵循英语课程标准中的要求,把学到的知识点运用到实际生活中。

七、教学过程
Step One: Warming up
1.Greeting
2.What to learn?
T: Boys and girls, please remember the learning aims of this class.
First: can read the new words.
Second: can read the story.
Finally: can describe your doll.
3.How to learn?
T: Here are the ways of learning.
(1)Watch with your eyes. Learn the new word “eyes”.
(2)Listen with your ears. Learn the new word “ears”.
(3)Speak English with your mouth. Learn the new word “mouth”.
T: Are you ready for class?
Ss: Yes.
【设计意图:课的开始就告诉学生们本课的教学目标,让学生知道本课的主要内容;同时传授学生学习方法,教授新单词mouth、eyes、ears,从上课开始就牢牢住在学生的注意力。】
Step Two: Pre-reading
1. Show the title
T: Look, who are they?
Ss: They are Tutu and Xiaomei.
T: Yes. They are very lovely. They are my dolls. Today we are going to learn: Unit 8 Dolls.
T: Do you have dolls?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Do you like dolls?
S: Yes, I do.
T: I like dolls, too. Look at Tutu and Xiaomei. Let’s compare them.
2. Teach the new words and drills
(Show the pictures)
T: His eyes are…./Her eyes are….
Learn the words: His/Her.
S1: His eyes are small. Her eyes are big.
T: Well done. Here are two new words “small. big”. Please read after me.
Ss: Learn the new words.
T: Look at Tutu’s nose.(point to the nose). Please read after me: nose.
S1: His nose is small. Her nose is small.
T: Excellent. How about their mouths?
S2: His mouth is small. Her mouth is small.
T: Wonderful. What about their ears?
S1: His ears are big. Her ears are small.
T: Then let’s have a look at their hair.(point to hair).Read after me: hair.
Ss: learn the word: hair.
T: Can you say something about their hair?
S1: His hair is short. Her hair is long.
T: Good job. Let’s try to remember these two words: short. long.
Ss: Learn the new words: short .long.
【设计意图:图图和小美是学生们非常熟悉的人物,通过这两个洋娃娃的面部特征的对照比较,学生很容易学习和掌握新单词和句型。】
3. Play games
T: All of you have done a good job. Let’s play some games.
(1) Game One: Magic eyes.
Here’re the rules:
When you see the picture or word, please read loudly.
When you see the doll, please say “doll, doll”.
(2) Game Two: Quick response
Show the pictures, try to speak out the phrases.

big mouth/small mouth
big ears/small ears
(3) Game Three: Look and say
T: Look at the dolls carefully, try to describe their features and use the following drills:
“His…is/are…. Her…is/are….”
【设计意图:游戏是孩子的天性,游戏也是最受欢迎的课堂活动。通过魔法眼睛、快速反应、看看说说这三个游戏来考同学们,同学们在游戏中复习了单词、词组和句型,这样学生既玩得开心,又达到了复习巩固的效果。】
Step Three: While-reading
1. Watch and answer
T: Do you like this doll?
Ss: Yes.
T: How about these two lovely dolls? Please watch the cartoon, try to answer the following question: Which doll do you like, the girls’ doll or the boys’ doll? Why?
S1: I like the girls’ doll. She’s beautiful.
S2: I like the boys’ doll. He’s cool.
2. Listen and tick(处理文本中的女娃娃部分)
T: Yes, I agree with you. These two dolls are very lovely. This time, please listen and tick.
1. Her hair is_____( short/ long).
2. Her eyes are______( big/small).
3. Her nose is _______(big/small).
4. Her mouth is_______(big/ small).
T: Check the answers together.
T: Look at these sentences: Her nose is small. Her mouth is small.
we can say: Her nose is small. Her mouth is small .
S1: Her nose is small. Her mouth is small too.
T: We can also say: Her and are small.
S2: Her nose and mouth are small.
T: Good. Here’s a listening tip for you.
Tip:当表示两个相同的特点时,我们可以用and或too来连接。
3. Listen and draw(处理文本中男娃娃部分)
T: Please listen to the tape and draw the boys’ doll.
Ss: Listen and draw.
T: Good, who can describe the boys’ doll?
Ss: His hair is short.
His eyes are nose are small.
His mouth is big.
His ears are big.
T: Great. Let’s read the following sentences
Ss: Read the sentences.
(His eyes and nose are small. His mouth is big.)
T: We can also say: His eyes and nose are small, his mouth is big.
S1: His eyes and nose are small, but his mouth is big.
T: Good. Here’s a learning tip for you.
Tip: but 的意思是“但是”,当表示两个相反的特点时,我们可以用but来连接。
T:Boys and girls, do you understand?
S: Yes.
T: Look, let’s give him a crown. So he is a king now. Please follow me “king”.

【设计意图:整个课文内容的教学,在设计的时候从一开始老师扶着学生学习女娃娃部分的内容,再慢慢开始半扶半放,学习男娃娃部分的内容,真正让学生成为学习的主体。】
Step Four: Post-reading
1. Let’s imitate
T: Great. Now let’s imitate. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
Ss: Read after the tape sentence by sentence.
【设计意图:在教学中,听录音为学生提供了准确、地道的语言模仿标准,跟读有助于培养学生的语感,模拟表演更能培养学生大胆表达和创新的能力。】
2. Let’s read
T: Now who is the Reading King? You can read correctly, fluently and vividly?
S1: Read the text.
3. Let’s complete
T: Now who is the Memory King? According to the pictures. You can complete the sentences.
S2: Complete the sentences.
【设计意图:小学英语课程目标指出:小学英语的教学任务是培养学生学习英语的兴趣。通过听、说、读、写四条途径来提高学生的英语能力。我利用补充填空的形式,将对话的概况以填空的形式体现。巩固本课的教学重、难点。】
4. Let’s retell
T: Please try to compare the two lovely dolls. Try to use the following words “and、too、but”.

5. Let’s describe
T: Here are more dolls, please choose one to describe it.

【设计意图:从老师的洋娃娃图图和小美,到课文中孩子们的洋娃娃,最后到学生们自己喜欢的洋娃娃,层层递进,步步深入。】
